特に白焼きは素材の味と焼き加減によって評価が決まるが、此方の白焼きは適度な油とふっくらした身に山椒をかけて頂くと、何とも言い難い鰻本来の味を味わえる。お値段は張るが、是非ご賞味頂きたい。
また焼鳥もあるがこちらも絶品。
鰻重は塩味の主張があるタレだが、鰻の油をさっぱりさせて、上質な鰻を品のある味にさせている。

講談が3席聴けて、中入でいなり寿司とお茶、講談聴き終わってお酒&つくね&鰻丼が付いて税込み4000円と超お値打ちでした。
70年の歴史ある会とのことです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創業は1877年(明治10年)の鰻屋さんです。注文したのは鰻重箱(特)。紀州備長炭で焼かれ、蒸された鰻は、蓋を開けるとギラリと、他の店よりテリがあるように見えました。深みある味わいの肝吸いを一口飲んでから、口に入れた鰻は、柔らかく、端正な味わいです。メニュー表を見ると、他に焼き鳥も扱っているようで、これらと白焼きなどを肴に一杯やるのも良さそうです。

The steamed eel, which was baked with Kishu Bicho charcoal, looked glaring when the lid was opened, and it seemed to be more terrific than other stores. After taking a sip of deep-tasting kimosui, the eel that you put in your mouth has a soft and neat taste. Looking at the menu table, it seems that Yakitori is also available, and it seems good to have a glass of these and Shiroyaki as a side dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 土用丑の日の夜、大行列で入れず結構美味しいのかな?と思い日をずらして来訪。
カウンターに座り上を注文した途端、出てきたのは冷凍の筏。。。
それを目の前で流水解凍後、蒸して炭火で焼いてからの提供。
不味くはないが、鰻も薄っぺらくこの値段出す価値があるとは思えませんでした。
近くにも数軒鰻屋さんがありますが、そちらの方が味、コスパ共に満足出来ます。ここは古くからあり老舗の雰囲気を味わいながら食事をするには良いとは思いますが、味を求める人にはお勧めしません。
私は二度と行くことは無いでしょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 老舗を感じさせる店構えです。昔ながらの担当制ですね。蒸し・焼き方と調理場でお重詰めなど、帳場、ホール担当。老舗ですね。
特鰻重箱、税込で5000円になります。ランチには肝吸い付きお新香もしっかり付きます。キリッと辛めのタレにフワフワで肉厚な鰻でとても美味しいです。やはり特が良いかと思います。
