★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八川蕎麦を目当てに向かったけど休みだったので、おろちループまで足を伸ばし、当レストランで肉そばとおこわのおにぎりを頂きました。
甘辛い肉とあっさりお出汁ですごく美味しかった‼️
 I went to Yakawa Soba, but it was a holiday, so I went to the Orochi Loop and had meat soba and Okowa rice balls at our restaurant.
The sweet and spicy meat and the light soup stock were very delicious! ️

これほどの高所にある駅で夕日が沈むのを見れれば、寂しくもあり切なくもあり？

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 原付旅行で松江から東広島に行く際に寄りました。ここ自体ももちろんですが、ここに来るまでの景色も素晴らしいです。広島側からいらっしゃっている方が多いようでしたが、島根側から行くと交通量が少なく、自分のペースで景色を見ながら走れてオススメです。いつも売っているのかは分かりませんが、露店のお餅が美味しかったです。
I stopped by when I went from Matsue to Higashi-Hiroshima on a moped trip. Not only here, but the scenery up to here is also wonderful. It seems that many people come from the Hiroshima side, but if you go from the Shimane side, the traffic is light and it is recommended that you can run while watching the scenery at your own pace. I don't know if it's always on sale, but the mochi at the stall was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ おろちループを登り切った所にある道の駅でそれほど大きく無いですが軽食と土産物があります。国道の反対側にある美術館は冬季閉鎖で展望台は雪があるとむずしいかと。

ここは奥出雲トロッコ号の絶好撮影ポイントとなっています。
その為、週末のこの時季は列車が通過するタイミングで満車になります。
皆さん、バスの所に駐車して居ましたが、バスが来るから移動して下さいと
放送して居ました。
駐車場は道路を挟んで反対側にも有りますし、歩道橋も整備されて居ます。
施設は綺麗なトイレ、休憩スペース、軽食スペース、物販も有ります。

ラーメンも丼も美味しい。
しかしなぜか腹が膨れない。霞を食べてるような気分。
もう1品、炭水化物以外で腹に貯まる料理がメニューに欲しいです。
隣に鉄の彫刻美術館があり、入場無料です。
屋台の牛串販売の人は、冷めてる牛串を優先して渡すのは止めてください。
餅の屋台は口が悪い。メニューに載ってるきなこ餅を頼んだら、「今ムリ！！！！！」とか。面食らった。他の餅を頼んでもしかめっ面でした。機嫌が悪いのでしょうか？

山奥の赤い橋が間近で見れるので迫力があり面白かったです。
奥出雲は、神話「ヤマタノオロチ」の舞台でもあり、ループ橋はそれをイメージして建設されました。 当道の駅は標高約700ｍに建ち、四季の美しい景色を眺めることができます。
Okudeun Orochi Loop is a loop bridge that spans National Highway 314 near the prefectural border between Shimane and Hiroshima prefectures.
The red bridge in the mountains can be seen up close, so it was powerful and interesting.
Oku Izumo is also the setting for the myth "Yamatano Orochi", and the Loop Bridge was built with that in mind. Our station is located at an altitude of about 700m and offers beautiful views of the four seasons.
