子連れでゆっくりと食事時間を探していたところ7月にオープンしたばかりのイタリアンを発見。前々日に一休レストランでネット予約してから伺いました。 場所はわかりづらいですが、静かで清潔、キャベツ畑越しの浅間山絶景は圧巻です。コロナ対策も万全で、久々に落ち着いて食事時間を楽しめました。軽井沢のきちんとしたレストランは子連れNGな店が多いので、ここは貴重なお店だと思います。
When I was slowly looking for meal time with my child, I found an Italian restaurant that just opened in July. I asked after making an online reservation at a restaurant Ikyu one day before. The location is difficult to understand, but it is quiet and clean, and the magnificent view of Mount Asama over the cabbage field is a masterpiece. The corona measures were perfect, and I was able to enjoy my meal time calmly after a long time. Karuizawa's decent restaurants are often stores with no children, so I think this is a valuable store.

ランチに行きました。オープンしてから1か月くらいだそうです。フレッシュな良い感じのシェフが作る優しく美味しいイタリアン。 ルヴァン美術館の脇道を進み左手にあります。駐車場は店の前に数台、裏手へ周り込んだ広いP2にも止められます。お店は畑の中に建ち、浅間山を真ん前に望む素敵なロケーション。それだけで気持ちの良い時間が過ごせます。ランチコースは3,800円(税別)で、お料理4皿とデザート&コーヒーが楽しめました。
I went to lunch. It's been about a month since it opened. Gentle and delicious Italian made by a fresh and nice chef. Follow the side street of the Levin Museum and you will find it on your left. There are several parking lots in front of the store, and you can park in the large P2 that wraps around the back. The shop is built in a field and has a wonderful location with Mt. Asama directly in front of you. You can spend a pleasant time just by doing that. The lunch course was 3,800 yen (excluding tax), and I enjoyed 4 dishes and dessert & coffee.

2020年6月以来、ディナータイムに友人らと2度目の訪問。 イタリアンのフルコースをオーナーにワインにペアリングして頂きながら、満喫しました。 どれもこれも、パッとお皿を目の前に置かれた時に、目の前が華やぐような洗練されたプレゼンテーションでした。 ベースは伝統的なイタリアの郷土料理です。 ただ、シェフは野菜との食べ合わせ、食材への火入れ、複数の塩とオイルを駆使されていて、フォークで一口ずつ口に運ぶたびに、「何これ! うまい。。。」という小さな感動を味わえます。 例えば、 パッパ・アル・ポモドーロ(トマトソースでバケットを粥のようにに詰めていくトスカーナの郷土料理)をサラダのドレッシングのようにして、新鮮な軽井沢産の15種のイタリア野菜と合わせたり、 さわらのコンフィには、皮目を少し強めにカリカリに仕上げて、燻ったような香りをじんわりとまとわせつつ、柑橘系のソースやオレンジソルトでその香りに方向感を出したり。。 牛ほほ肉の煮込みのほろほろ具合とソースとの絡みも、牛フィレ肉のローストの火入れの適切さと岩塩を振っている場所も、こだわってるなあ、と。 まあ、本当にシェフはイタリアンが好きなんだなあ、と食べながらに感じられる料理の数々をいただきました。 オーナーから、「今日はアルバから白トリュフが入荷しました」と伺って、今年初の白トリュフも楽しみました。いいですね、季節物は。 今回も大満足のディナーでした。 前回6月はプレオープン時で、私たちだけの貸し切りでしたが、今回は軽井沢にお住まいの方と思われる品のいいお客様がたくさん来店されていました。 すっかり人気店になっているようですので、次回、軽井沢行きが決まったら、予約して再訪したいと思います。

However, the chef makes full use of eating with vegetables, burning ingredients, and using multiple salts and oils, and every time he takes each bite with a fork, he can enjoy a small impression of "What's this! It's delicious ..." I will. For example Pappa al pomodoro (a Tuscan local dish of tomato sauce that fills a bucket like porridge) can be used as a salad dressing and combined with 15 fresh Italian vegetables from Karuizawa. For the Spanish mackerel confit, the lenticel is slightly strengthened and crispy, and while the smoky scent is gently wrapped, the citrus sauce and orange salt give a sense of direction to the scent. .. I'm particular about the entanglement between the stewed beef cheeks and the sauce, the appropriateness of roasting beef fillet and the place where rock salt is sprinkled. Well, I got a lot of dishes that I can feel while eating, saying that the chef really likes Italian food. I heard from the owner that "white truffles have arrived from Aruba today," and I enjoyed the first white truffles this year. Good, seasonal items. It was a very satisfying dinner this time as well. Last June was the pre-opening, and it was reserved only for us, but this time there were many good customers who seemed to live in Karuizawa. It seems that it has become a very popular restaurant, so when I decide to go to Karuizawa next time, I would like to make a reservation and revisit.

Our compliments to the chef for a wonderful evening. We were very pleased with everything. Wonderful friendly staff, Great table location and most of all, perfectly prepared, presented tasty food. Our eyes were very happy to see the perfectly presented dishes and our taste buds were very happy with every bite!! We will be back for more!!

I often feel guilty if I eat carbs that don’t taste good. Last weekend, for my sister’s birthday lunch, we had pasta at L’Ombra and I had no regret whatsoever! It was in fact the yummiest pasta I have ever eaten, not to forget the food presentation that was just so pretty. I will 100% come back in the future.

We went to this restaurant for my birthday celebration and truly had a great time there. We sat on the table next to the big window and could see the mountain very clearly. We were in awe from the starter all the way to the dessert & coffee. Each ingredient in the dishes perfectly compliment the taste of other ingredients. The two kinds of soup for starter were creative and delicious. The bread served on the side was soft inside and crunchy outside. I don’t think I had ever had pasta as tasty as the one I had there! The grilled fish was super nicely grilled and served with two delicious sauces I had never found anywhere else before. The layout of all dishes (particularly the dessert) was so well done and creative that I felt sorry eating them! The plates used to serve the dishes were also very elegant. Lastly, the customer service was excellent. The staff were very friendly as they explained each dish they served. Overall, this is a lunch experience I will always cherish. Thank you!
