★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 臨江寺は臨済宗の寺院です。今では埋め立てられていますが、昔の臨江寺はその名の通り佐鳴湖畔にあって月見の名所でもありました。竹村広蔭は臨江寺を「山林山秋月」として佐鳴八景のひとつに数えています。
写真の右側は賀茂真淵が観月の歌会で名月を詠んだ短歌の歌碑、左側は五升庵蝶夢が佐鳴湖に昇る朝日と富士山を詠んだ句碑です。
Rinzai Temple is a temple of the Rinzai sect. Although it is now reclaimed, the old Rinkoji Temple was located on the shores of Lake Sanar and was also a famous spot for viewing the moon. Hirokage Takemura counts Rinko-ji Temple as one of the eight scenic spots of Sanar as "Sanrinzan Akizuki".
On the right side of the photo is a tanka monument where Mabuchi Kamo wrote a poem about the moon at the moon-viewing party, and on the left side is a monument about Asahi and Mt. Fuji when Gomasuan Chomu rises to Lake Sanaru.
