★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far I have enjoyed Richmond hotels in Japan thoroughly. This one was not different than the others. Comfortable, hospitable, clean, amenities, wish this was the standard in europe. Breakfast is perfect! No rate of 5 stars, since lights could be in a warmer color when entering the reception.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the better hotels in the area. Prices are more reasonable compared to Onomichi. Perfect location. So close to the train station and downtown restaurant area. Quick 20 minute train ride to Onomichi. Staff is great. Everyone I spoke to was very courteous, helpful and spoke English. Rooms are very good. Breakfast is great and only costs 1000 yen. Definitely would stay there again if in the area.
