正門手前に西澤潤一教授や抜山平一教授に関する碑が立てられています。施設には入れませんが、記念碑を観光することは可能です。

 It is the first building of the Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University, where various inventions of the world's top were made for the first time in the world. The location of the research institute at that time was the Nishizawa Memorial Library (Admission Center) on the Kawauchi Campus.
A monument about Professor Jun-ichi Nishizawa and Professor Heiichi Nukiyama is erected in front of the main gate. You cannot enter the facility, but you can visit the monument.
