散	散歩大荒神 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三越や高島屋がある日本橋という土地がらで「長崎屋跡地」と聞けば、イトーヨーカドーと並ぶあの長崎屋と勘違いされる方がいるかも知れませんね。冗談は兎も角として、江戸時代に貿易を許されていたオランダ商館が、徳川幕府にCourtesy call (表敬訪問)する際、長崎の平戸・出島を発ってから約1ヶ月を経て江戸に着き、さらに約1ヶ月を逗留する訳ですが、幕府から定められた宿は日本橋本石町（ほんこくちょう）三丁目の「長崎屋」だったのです。 1633年から1850年までの間に、その江戸参府は166回におよんでいます。ちなみに、1634年からの琉球国王が幕府へ派遣した使節団の逗留には長崎屋を使わず、主として浅草本願寺と定めていたようです。琉球国王即位の際に派遣される謝恩使、幕府将軍襲職の際に派遣される慶賀使を合わせて、1850年までに18回行われています。この長崎屋は江戸の出島とも呼ばれて、小さいながらも異文化交流の役割を果たしていたと言えます。また、この長崎屋の近くには、雛人形を売る十軒店(だな)の市や、時の鐘、伝馬町牢屋敷など、江戸を偲ぶ跡地が多くありますから歴史散歩を好む方には周辺の散策をお勧めいたします。江戸時代の川柳を一句ご紹介しますね。「石町の　鐘はオランダ　まで聞こえ」云うまでもなく長崎屋を指しています。 If you listen to the "Nagasakiya site" in the land grounds that Nihonbashi there is a Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya, I might have it is better to be mistaken with that Nagasakiya, along with Ito-Yokado.
