J	Janet Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s hard to order if you don’t read Japanese. We tried to get by with the Google Translate app, but it didn’t go great. We accidentally ordered the anchovy broth and didn’t like it at all. That could just be the local taste so ok, not necessarily reason for a mediocre review. But I think the other aspects are not as good as in other ramen shops too. The noodles were okay but unremarkable. The char siu was quite thick, and its fatty parts were tough and not tasty. They didn’t seem to have cabbage. The egg and their specialty cube-shaped pork belly were good, but didn’t make up for everything else. It’s completely different from their Palo Alto location (other than the pork belly), so don’t come here based on that!
V	Vincent Msika on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny ramen shop in the middle of Shinjuku's Golden Gai. The dry fish soup is amazing, served with huge and tasty toppings. There are many ramen shops in Shinjuku and this one is among the best.

Cos after we ordered, a big group of 6 had to wait because the place could not take in so many people. Ramen is great! A lil more stronger taste in soup. The rest are great. A different take on ichiran if anyone is sick of it haha! Recommend everyone to check them out!

From what I could gather, they have two types of ramen here: a primarily peppery one and a sardine based one. The peppery ramen wasn't bad at all, just maybe a little too much for me. The chashu and other toppings were great. My husband got the sardine based ramen and found it to be too salty for his taste. You order outside at a small vending machine. There is no English on the machine which made it a bit challenging for us. When we went, the first two rows were ramen. Each row had a picture for the type and the buttons corresponded to just ramen, ramen with an egg, ramen with extra meat, and ramen with everything. There are also some sides and teas. I choose a tea at random and it was very good! The shop itself is very small and narrow. There's a restroom in the back and a faucet for water at the front. Everyone sits side by side at a bar, nearly shoulder to shoulder. They hand you the food over the bar. Overall, I'm happy we went. It was a great experience even if I wasn't a huge fan of the ramen. I recommend checking it out if you're a tourist up for something different!
G	Gladys Houwen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very awesome fish ramen. It is a lovely change from pork belly ramen. It has a massive wonton skin to absorb the soup! I love their thick noodles which go very well with the rich soup.
