For the foreigners: buy your ticket first and look at the sign to see how to line up. Service and quality was amazing. Some of the best pork I’ve ever had. Really nice, light, clam broth and really well made noodles.

I'm not a fan of clam but for my first trip to japan and my first real meal there, it was a blast. I hope to eat there again in the future.

We very much enjoyed the sardine and clam based ramens served here. Looking around the room, the sardine ramen seems to be the local favorite. It carries an amazing flavor of the ocean along with the delicious noodles, tender pork, and creamy egg. The clam ramen does the same, but with a more subtle clam flavor. The shop itself is very nice, clean, and straightforward. The ticket machine has Japanese and English explanations, and the staff is friendly but focused on their craft. It's clear they enjoy what they do and care a lot about ingredients and quality. It was a fantastic meal.

Clams and sardines will explode in your mouth after one sip of the soup. Shashi was also great. The taste of the whole bowl was nice.

Have to say this was my favorite sardine tsukemen! The noodles were homemade while the sashu pork were very tender and aromatic. The place is tiny and clean so you need 1 bowl per 1 seat. Staff are friendly. Will visit again!

TSUKEMEN. This noodle has good and rich flavor. The soup is not salty or not heavy, its good combination with noodle.

Not too long line in weekdays after 1:30pm, I think. Tasty shio ramen and Niboshi based tsukemen, you can pick up. Those specials are 1350JPY, and you can enjoy all of toppings, which include 2 kind of Chashu meats of Chicken and pork. I would recommend the shio ramen more because of the originality, especially about its thin and curly noodle. If it were not too crowded, then I could come here often, though.

One of the best ramen I had in the last several months. Ramen Kai has won many awards in the industry and has established a strong reputation, and I’ve been very curious about this place for a few years. The ramen here is famous for the broth created from seafood, especially of a combination of shellfishes such as mussels, clams, scallops, kelp, etc. The broth has this special smell of sweetness and deep flavors that’s mellow but filling. I’m not into the oily type of ramen, so this is really my type of broth. The noodles are hand made of whole grains and are thick and chewy. The pork shoulder cha siu is slow cooked in low temperatures (sous vide). This was really really fantastic! I will be back!
