BE CAREFUL! When I came back to the shop the day after they didn't even apologise for their mistake but they were suspicious about me. They agreed to give me the knife I paid for but they gave me the one in exposition without making any discount. They convinced me to buy their knife saying that I could get my tax refunded even if they knew I didn't have the requirement for it, I had to pay the full price tax included. There are many other knife shops in kappabashi Street, don't go to this one.

The store was filled with lots of customers from overseas. They help you finding the one YOU need. Purchasing knives had never been my thing but the whole experience with them was very pleasant and I'm super happy with my new sharp knives. I can't wait to go back to them!

The shop has hundreds of choices so its a bit overwhelming, but rest assured the staff will help you make the right choice. My sales associate KIM was very personable and she helped me make a good choice based on what she uses and what my needs were. They carry many hand made knifes and she explained why spending a little more on a good knife was the right choice. I bought a Kurosaki hand made knife and liked it so much I went back and bought 2 more. If you visit, ask for Kimi and surely you will have a great shopping experience.
