They were really gracious even though I moved between the two stores at least ten times while deciding on a knife. They welcome holding and experiencing each knife for yourself. Knives at all price points, they take Discover card. Read a little on the rules of buying a knife in Japan(it’s mostly don’t unwrap their special packaging before you get home if you are getting a largeish knife)

They are able to ship their knives internationally, which saves me from being questioned by TSA agents. ?? The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and speak great English. I will return for more knives if requested.

They will tell you about different kind of steel (Damascus, carbon, stainless...), different shapes (for cutting vegetables, meat, fish...) It was great experience and I would recommend this place if you looking to upgrade your cutlery! Oh also they do free engraving was free!!
