★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a fraud. The food set and cake set only applies during order but on payment this doesn't apply. Lady who took the order showed the set price and took the order. But the cashier insisted this is not a set. She cant even articulate. Order 2 spag and a smoothie and coffee. A cake too. How does it not make a set??!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upstairs area allows smoking so would not recommend for families. Minimum order of 1 item per person which I thought was strange...
But if you get a seat downstairs, the cakes and pancakes are very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, I paid with a 5000 yen and 134 in coin and 4000 was my change. I turned around and stated to walk away without getting my change. Then remembered and I saw the clerk putting the money back away. Then they said I did not give them a 5000 bill. An honest clerk would have called me out to offer the change. They had a camera right over the cash register and did not even attempt to review it. If you are the owner this happened at approx 1930 hours on Oct 21. Please review the tape and carefully hire poeple that are honest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say that this is a cute shop to stop at in between shopping. Vegetarian options are available and a nice tea and coffee selection. It even has a drinks menu. Stopped to use the wifi and enjoyed the experience. I would agree that the cake slices are small for what you get, but you get a discounts for a drink and cake or food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute and tasty piece of cake. Overpriced drinks (super overpriced). The service sat us in a table and forgot about us. The hot cocoa I ordered must have been heated in hell because there was nobody who could drink that.
It's a pity because it is very well located and the cakes are nice, but I'm definitely never coming back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Poundhouse was a nice westernized looking cafe, well lit with decently priced desserts. Although the staff didn't speak English, it was much like every other dining establishment in Japan, it had a menu that showed pictures and prices. The Strawberry crepe was delicious and the chocolate parfait was no better or worse than any other I have tasted elsewhere. But overall it's a nice calm place to hang out and eat some good food. Be aware that they have a limit of 1 hour stay during busy times.
