★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この尾崎公園は、尾崎神社の社殿跡地です。尾崎神社の里宮が、現在の市営ビル付近にありましたが、昭和8年の三陸大津波で流出。昭和10年に、高畑山に移されました。さらに昭和27年に移転後、その跡地である高畑山を東西の歩行道路を整備し、都市公園・避難広場の尾崎公園となりました。ここに尾崎神社があったころのお祭は、この長い階段をお神輿をかついで登ったそうです。
公園が出来た当時は、船のマストを模した遊具や10ｍほどの丘をロープ一本で上る遊具などありましたが、現在は近隣住民の散歩コースになっています。
浜町側から釜石港を一望できる公園です。
This Ozaki Park is the site of the shrine of Ozaki Shrine. The Satomiya of Ozaki Shrine was near the current municipal building, but it spilled due to the Sanriku Tsunami in 1948. It was moved to Mt. Takahata in 1945. Furthermore, after relocating in 1952, we developed a pedestrian road in the east and west of Mt. Takahata, which was the site, and became Ozaki Park, a city park and evacuation square. The festival when Ozaki Shrine was here seems to have climbed this long staircase with a portable shrine.
At the time when the park was built, there were playground equipment that imitated the mast of a ship and playground equipment that climbed a hill of about 10 meters with a single rope, but now it is a walking course for neighboring residents.
It is a park with a view of Kamaishi Port from the Hamacho side.

Taken on May 5, 1979. Keep a record of the photos my dad took (but I didn't see him). I liked climbing the wall tires here. The big catch flag shows the liveliness of Kamaishi at that time.
