The highlight is the masks of demons from all over the world, including Japan. You can see how the existence of demons is perceived by country and region, and the transition of design. There are some replicas, but they are realistically reproduced, so it's quite spectacular. If you are not good at youkai or ghosts, we do not recommend going alone.
た	たけし on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鬼の館、北上市立博物館、北上市立利根山光人記念美術館の3館共通利用券700円がお得だったので購入しました。天狗の企画展？もしていました。こちらはまぁフムフムくらいな感じで。鬼の方はなかなか良かったです。駐車場がいっぱいなのでお客さんも多いかと思ったのですが、隣の蕎麦屋が目当てなようで、鬼の展示は貸切でした笑期待しすぎだとガッカリすると思いますが、軽い気持ちで見学されると十分満足出来る展示だと思います。鬼剣舞？は翌週予定で見れなかったのは残念。遠野が近いこともあって、カッパの展示もしてました。カッパは何をみてそう思ったのかとかも書かれていてなるほどねぇな感じでした。 I bought the ticket for 700 yen for the Oni no Yakata, Kitakami City Museum, and Kitakami City Toneyama Mitsuto Memorial Museum. Devil's Sword Dance? It's a pity that I couldn't see it next week. Because Tono is near, we also exhibited kappa. The kappa didn't feel like it was written about what I saw and thought about it.
聡	聡（サイフォン） on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鬼、妖怪、仮面等がずらりと並んでいて、とても楽しかったです！鬼の好きな物、嫌いな物とか勉強になりましたし、昔の女性の模型に近づくと妖怪に変身してビックリしました！入口から正面に写真撮影のスポットがあったり、ゲゲゲの鬼太郎の模型があったりと、とても楽しかったです！ Demon, youkai, masks, etc. were lined up in a row and it was very fun! b	bozzo mori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今日一日でだいぶ『鬼剣舞』の知識得たわ！岩崎鬼剣舞は数多ある鬼剣舞の創始と呼ばれる団体で、1300年の歴史を持つ。元は踊り念仏で、今でも「一番庭」は南無阿弥陀を唱えながら踊る。（神戸の一遍上人の流れ、感慨深い！）国の重要無形民俗文化財指定。「庭」は踊り場という意味で代々「庭元」が踊りの伝承を司る家督制で、秘伝書が現存する。鬼面は仏の変化で角がなく「青⇒東、赤⇒南、白⇒西、黒⇒北」の四色で、四方の悪霊を踏み鎮める「反閇（へんばい）」の舞が基本。二前神社奉納のあと、地域の代表的なお宅の庭先でも舞を披露し、保存会館での直会にお邪魔し、お話を伺った。「庭元」は現在70歳。24歳という若さで継承し鬼剣舞の普及に尽力、「岩崎伝佐渡鬼剣舞」「岩崎伝札幌鬼剣舞」「岩崎伝京都鬼剣舞」と全国に拡がる功績を残している。地域伝承にも積極的で、今日も岩崎幼稚園の子供達が「鬼剣舞」を披露。後継も心配無用とのこと。民俗芸能でここまで地域密着なのは、沖縄コザのエイサー並みだと思った。濃厚な一日でした。写真は庭元の法被。 #photobybozzo I've gained a lot of knowledge about "Onigendo Mai" today! Most of the monsters (Oni) are there for a purpose. They teach children to be careful around water or to respect their parents or not be idle. The list is quite complete, there is also a small museum in the building as well with items more than 4000 years old. It is a good place to enjoy with the family.
