片	片桐幸雄 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 生実城　散策のためこの寺に寄った。お寺と言うより集会所と言った感じ、誰もいない！でも道の反対側に墓地はあった。萬徳寺別院？　なぜ別院なのか？このお寺元々は別院でなかった！　大正11年　外房線の機関車の煤煙により火災を起こし、焼失してしまい、塩田の地にお寺を建て移転しまった。最近になりこの地に別院を建てたらしい！本当に機関車の火の粉で燃えたのか❓ 近くの老人に聞いてみた。　昔しここは勾配がきつく機関車が坂を登れず、蘇我駅まで引き返し機関車をもう1台連結して越えることもあった。だからこの坂を登る時は石炭をたくさん燃やしパワーアップして超えた。当時、屋根は茅葺き、線路側のお寺や農家は燃えたとのこと、老人の家も燃えたと怒っていた！今は工事によって切り通しの線路になり勾配は改善されている。この時代、全国でこの様な火災が多く発生していた？ I stopped by this temple for a walk around the raw castle. At that time, the roof was thatched, the temples and farmhouses on the railroad side were on fire, and the old man's house was on fire! Now the track has been cut through by construction and the slope has been improved. Did many such fires occur all over the country at this time?

YAMADA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千葉に珍しい寝ている大仏殿が有るので、寄ってきました。わかりづらくて通り過ぎてしまいそうになるのですが、道路沿いになびく赤旗が目印です。駐車場から大仏殿まで、かなり急な上り坂。足腰の健康祈願に良いというのもわかる気がしました。坂道は手入れされていない山道の様でした。山頂には横たわる大仏殿があり、螺旋になっている一番下の段に上がり、右回りに３周すると足裏にたどり着き、祈願出来ます。入り口で作法を詳しく教えてくれるので安心です。青銅製の涅槃仏は世界最大とのことで、圧巻です。駐車場からは全くお姿は見えず、そこだけ異空間の様でしたが、３周していると厳かな気持ちになりました。 There is a rare sleeping Great Buddha Hall in Chiba, so I stopped by.
