Go west at the intersection in front of R51 Oyamato Shrine, and when you enter the torii gate of the shrine, you will find a parking lot on your left. There were many information boards and explanation boards, so I could understand the shrine well. It is a very historical shrine, and the approach from the torii gate to the hall of worship is long, and the trees beside the approach are soothing. During the Pacific War, battleship Yamato worshiped the spirit of this shrine. On the approach road, there is the Hoshizuka Kofun (front and back burial mounds of unknown age).

It is said that it is a shrine related to battleship Yamato. The company inside the battleship was this branch company. It's a pretty good shrine. Goshuin is quite a masterpiece and is rare in Nara.

It is a shrine listed in the Engi-shiki, a Shinto shrine edited during the Heian period, the so-called Shikinai-sha (Meishin Taisha), and is considered to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan. Yamato Okunitama no Okami is the god who controls the land of Japan, and was once enshrined with Amaterasu Omikami. About 2,000 years ago, in the 6th year of the 10th Emperor Sujin, the shrine was relocated to this area by Princess Junmeijo Irihime. Since the Nara period, the envoy to Tang has been worshiping at Yamato Shrine at the time of departure, and has long been worshiped as a shrine with the benefit of traffic safety. The battleship Yamato of the Japanese Navy, whose name is derived from Yamato Province, was enshrined as an inboard shrine, and the building that displays materials related to battleship Yamato is still in the precincts. there is.

It was a shrine related to battleship Yamato. There was also a memorial monument, and there was also a memorial hall where photographs of the battleship Yamato at that time were displayed. Although the site is small, it seems that there are many events such as the Mayumi Festival on January 4, the Chanchan Festival on April 1, and the Battleship Yamato Mitama Festival on August 7.

Wow! The office is about to close! The office, which arrived before 16:05, was already closed, even though I hurried to leave my wife who couldn't come out of the store near the convenience store. Well, there are only a few people who worship, and it's up to us to come all the way from afar, and I gave up because I wasn't just looking for the red stamp in the first place, and I hurried from the parking lot, so I was tired. As I stood still for a while, someone was screaming from the other side of the approach. He was a wife who became a Super Saiyan after hitting Dohatsuten. I thought I'd be picked up soon, but I didn't come at all, so I ended up walking. "I'm sorry. It was a hassle to get back from the parking lot to the office because of the long approach. And it was just a short walk from the convenience store? I left it in the car. " My wife quickly walked to the hall of worship while making excuses such as "It's about the same length as battleship Yamato, this approach is really long," even though I wasn't asked because it was bad. rice field. According to the Nihon Shoki, Amaterasu Omikami and Yamato Daikoku Tamashii, who were enshrined in the palace, were afraid of the divine power of the same shrine in the reign of Emperor Sujin, and Amaterasu Omikami was appointed to Princess Toyosukiirihime. Then, in the Kasashi-emura of Yamato, the soul god of Yamato Daikoku was relocated to Cape Nagaoka in Oichi with the princess Amaterasu Irihime. There are various theories about the location of Cape Nagaoka, but there are also theories that it has moved to its current location and that it has passed through other places, so there is no doubt that it has an old history. It must have been a considerable scale in the past. Perhaps he liked the unique atmosphere of the old company, and by the time he returned, his wife was in a good mood.

It is a shrine related to battleship Yamato. At first I was wondering why it had something to do with Nara, but it's Yamato no Kuni. After passing through the torii gate, there is a long approach. Like the battleship Yamato, it is about 270m long. It seems that you can park your car on this approach. The atmosphere is good, but be careful of the traffic of cars. The hall of worship has a profound feeling and is wonderful

It seems to be a shrine that boasts a high position both now and in the prewar shrine system. Currently, it is a shrine of the same class as Kasuga Taisha, Ishigami Jingu, Oomiwa Shrine (Miwa Myojin), Kashihara Jingu, etc. But, well, after the end of the war, all the shrines are equal, and the transition of Shinto and the way the shrines are complicated and chaotic, so at first glance it's hard to understand. Yamato Shrine doesn't have a busy gate town or a space for large buses, and I didn't know it was such a great shrine. Yamato Shrine has a long approach to the shrine, and I feel its personality, but the main shrine where you can see a glimpse of the shrine in the back of the worship hall is rather strict.

A shrine related to the battleship Yamato, which is not surprisingly known ⛩️ There is also a solemn atmosphere and various attractions ✨ I walk a little along the approach road (the same length as the battleship Yamato), but since there are no stairs, I think that even people with poor legs can go to the main shrine. If you drive from north to south on Route 169, after a gentle curve, you will be guided to turn right at the large signboard of Yamato Shrine, and you will enter a narrow road that only one car can pass, but you are not good at passing each other. I think it would be easier for you to go south on the main street without turning there and turn right at the intersection with the road running east and west toward the shrine. Immediately after entering the first torii gate, there is a parking space for 7 to 8 cars ?️.
