城跡と言っても小さな所で、駐車場として確保されている場所はなく、周辺道路も狭いです。また、すぐ近くに民家がありますので、迷惑にならないように配慮が必要です。駅前の観光案内所で、レンタサイクルを有料で借りられますので、それを使うのもいいかもしれません。
周囲は公衆トイレや商店はありません。暑い日は飲料等をあらかじめ持参した方がいいです。
城跡へは階段を登ります。段数は多くありません。また、車いす用のスロープはありません。
上から眺める田園風景は、周囲に高い建物が無いのでよく見えます。大多喜城ほど高い場所にはありませんが、悪くないと思います。
It is located about 1 km from Otaki Station. It takes only 15 minutes by foot and a few minutes by car.
The castle ruins are small, there is no place reserved for parking, and the surrounding roads are narrow. In addition, since there is a private house nearby, care must be taken so as not to bother you. You can also rent a bicycle at a tourist information center in front of the station, so it may be good to use it.
There are no public toilets and shops around. It is better to bring beverages etc. in advance on a hot day.
Ascend the stairs to the castle ruins. There are not many stages. There is no slope for wheelchairs.
The rural scenery seen from above can be seen well because there are no tall buildings around. It is not as high as Otaki Castle, but I think it is not bad.

It is said to be the first castle of Honda Tadakatsu. The remains are only turrets, and since they are in private land, you will not want to excavate them back.

武田氏、正木氏の主要な城としてはちょっと小さい。周囲は底湿地であったため、それなりに要害であったのかな。台地上は完全に宅地化されており、主郭か見張台らしき場所しかない。

It is a little small for Takeda and Masaki's main castles. The surrounding area was a bottom wetland, so I wonder if it was a bastion in its own way. The plateau is completely converted into a residential land, and there is only a place that looks like a main enclosure or a watch stand.
