白根側の道路拡幅を願います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前はアーチ橋の形状でしたが、片側2車線の拡幅工事の際に現在のシンプルな形状となりました。
改築デザイン案として、かつてこの橋が架かる中ノ口川を往来していた舟をデザインして道路上方に設置するものがありました。
しかしながら、安全性を考慮して廃案となり現在の形状が採用された、と聞いています。
かつては、この橋の北側は旧黒埼町、南側は旧白根市。
今は、それぞれ新潟市西区、新潟市南区となりましたが、変わらず区界の象徴です。

As a design plan for reconstruction, there was a design to design a fence that used to travel through the Nakanoguchi River over which this bridge is bridged and installed it above the road.

Now it is Nishi-ku, Niigata City, and Minami-ku, Niigata City, respectively, but it is still a symbol of the ward world.
