★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白洲正子さんの著書「かくれ里」に記載あり。天智天皇の皇子、光仁天皇の父にあたる志貴皇子の邸宅跡とされる場所が神社本殿を少し下ったところにあり、「田原天皇社旧跡」の石柱が立っている。かつては志貴皇子を祀る田原天皇社があったが、現在は大宮神社に合祀されていることになっている。しかしながら、本殿前のに表示さるた御祭神にはなぜか田原天皇の名前はない。
境内の五輪塔は志貴皇子の追善供養のために建立されたらしい。
その他のに気になるものは、手水舎の石船の銘が大同年間に制作されたと刻まれていること。いくらなんでもそんなに古いはずはないだろう。それにしては文字があまり風化していなくて、はっきりし過ぎている。
他には石碑に刻まれた梵字曼荼羅。なぜか中心に文殊、左右に観音と阿弥陀。なぜ文殊菩薩が中央なのか。
It is described in Masako Shirasu's book "Kakeri". The site of the residence of Prince Shiki, the father of Emperor Tenchi and the father of Emperor Mitsuhito, is located just below the main shrine of the shrine, and the stone pillar of "Temple of Tawara Emperor" stands. There used to be the Tahara Emperor Shrine that enshrines Prince Shiki, but now it is supposed to be enshrined at Omiya Shrine. However, there is no name of Emperor Tahara for the god of the ritual festival displayed in front of the main shrine.
It seems that the Olympic tower in the precincts was built for the memorial service of Prince Shiki.
Another thing I'm curious about is that the inscription on the stone ship of the Tesuisha was engraved in the same year. No matter how old it may be, For that, the letters aren't too weathered and are too clear.
Elsewhere, a Brahman mandala engraved on a stone monument. For some reason, Monju is in the center, and Kannon and Amida are on the left and right. Why is Monju Bodhisattva central?
