また、館内は撮影出来ません。入場料がちょっと高め？かな。大人800円
好きで、興味があってせっかくここまで来ているので、そこは気にしないようにしました←
ここにたどり着くまでの道が狭く、周りも駐車場が無さそうでしたので(←下見していた)、青梅線 日向和田駅下車、そこから青梅の自然を見ながら 向かった方が良さげ(*´`*)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ きもの、とありますが、テーマとして皇室関連や、江戸時代の武家の資料など、「着る物」全般においてかなり貴重な資料が展示されています。
常設展示以外に、婚礼衣装や武家装束などを四季に合わせて展示していたり、小さな博物館ですが、内容はかなり密度が濃い物となっており、この内容で入場料800円は安いと思います。
内部の写真は撮れません。
皇室関連の資料を扱っているので、当たり前ですので、注意。
入館料を払うと、館長がつきっきりで丁寧に展示品の説明をしてくれますので、勉強したい人には向いてますが、一人で静かに見たい人は、その旨を館長に伝えた方が良かと。
でも、その解説やうんちくを聴くだけでも、かなりの価値だと思います。
着物の色が持つ意味、帯の結び方の経緯、など、知っているようで詳しく知らなかった事を、わかりやすく教えていただきました。
駐車場は有りますが分かりにくいので、近くに停めて受付で館長に声をかけると、丁寧に案内してくれます。
貴重な資料を保存している博物館ですので、なるべく多くの人が訪れて、後世に伝えて行って欲しいです。
