平日の雪の降る寒い日、客は終始自分一人だけだったのでのんびり見て回ることができました。
It is a museum that used the former Hirabayashi family's house, which was a salt ton'ya, and the building is registered as a national tangible cultural property.
On a cold, snowy weekday, I was the only customer from beginning to end, so I was able to take a leisurely look around.

昭和軒の後に通りを散策、店先の甘味写真に惹かれた。
歴史ある建物を資料館兼カフェとして利用している。
ちょうどお客が切れたのか、私達の他に誰もいない。
大きな建屋は、田舎の豪商に招かれたようで少し緊張。
奥にある広い和室に案内、テーブルとイスがセットされている。
イチゴミルクのかき氷をオーダー。(限定15食だった)
ミルクは練乳とはちょっと違って上品な感じ。
かき氷はもちろん旨かったんだけど、なぜか水が美味いと感じた。
この日はものすごく暑い日で、心地よくクールダウンできた。
周囲を見渡すと、囲炉裏や極太の梁など、建物としても素晴らしい。
近隣に来たら、街の散策の途中に寄ってみる事をお勧めする。

On a summer trip to Nagano.
After walking around the street after Showaken, I was attracted to the sweet photos of the storefront.
The historic building is used as a museum and cafe.
Maybe the customers have just run out, no one but us.
The big building seems to have been invited by a wealthy rural merchant, so I'm a little nervous.
A guide, a table and chairs are set in the large Japanese-style room in the back.
I ordered the shaved ice of strawberry milk. (Limited to 15 meals)
Milk is a little different from condensed milk and feels elegant.
The shaved ice was delicious, of course, but for some reason I felt the water was delicious.
It was a very hot day and I was able to cool down comfortably.
Looking around, the hearth and thick beams are wonderful as a building.
If you come to the neighborhood, we recommend you to stop by while exploring the city.
A treat.
