In winter, you can't go to the Takakariyama Observatory, so the view here is the best. There is also a toilet on the back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鷹狩山展望台とほぼ同じ方角から、大町市街地越しに、蓮華岳・爺ヶ岳・鹿島槍ヶ岳を見渡せる展望スポット。冬場はこれより上が通行止めになります。
鷹狩山より随分低い位置になるので、パノラマ感と言う点では劣ります。とは言え、ここまで上がるだけでも、特に爺ヶ岳と鹿島槍ヶ岳の見え方は随分良くなるし、何と言っても手軽に訪問できるのが良い所。
An observatory spot overlooking Mt. Rengedake, Mt. Jiigatake, and Mt. Kashimayarigadake from almost the same direction as the Takagariyama Observatory over the city of Omachi. In winter, traffic is closed above this.
Since it is located much lower than Mt. Takagari, it is inferior in terms of panoramic feeling. However, even if you go up to this point, the view of Jiigatake and Kashimayarigadake will be much better, and it is a good place to visit easily.
