★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1956（昭和31)年、日本人初となる8,000メートル峰の初登頂が日本マナスル登山隊によってなされ、日本における登山熱は一気に高まりました。その後、昭和30年代後半から40年代にかけては、まさに空前の登山ブーム！日本各地に、社会人山岳会ができ、また、大学の山岳部が国内外で活躍をしたの もこの頃です。
一方、登山者の増加とともに、山岳遭難事故の増加や、登山者のモラル低下等による自然破壊もすすみました。
こうした中で、長野県山岳総合センターは、山岳における遭難事故の防止と健全な登山活動の進展をはかり、併せて自然保護思想を普及する目的をもって、1969（昭和44)年5月23日に開設されました。

After that, from the late 1940s to the 1940s, there is an unprecedented mountain climbing boom! On the other hand, along with the increase of mountain climbers, natural disasters caused by the increase of mountain accident accident and decrease of morals of mountain climbers are also suggested.
Under these circumstances, the Nagano Prefectural Mountain General Center was established on May 23, 1969 with the aim of preventing distress accidents in the mountains and promoting sound mountaineering activities, and at the same time spreading the concept of nature conservation. it was done.
