十和田湖神社さん の拝殿の
すぐ後ろに祀られておりました 。
十和田湖の主である
南祖坊 (なんそのぼう) は
熊野権現で修行をしていたそうで 、
熊野権現から杖と鉄のわらじを授かり
修行をしつつ各地を回っていたそうです 。
わらじが切れた所を住処とするように
と 、熊野権現から言われていたので
わらじが切れた十和田湖に住むべく
十和田湖の元々の主と戦い 、勝利して
十和田湖の主となったのだそうです 。
その 鉄のわらじが奉納されているとか 。
こちらの御朱印はありませんです 。
