★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 休屋の商店街から湖畔を通らずに、十和田神社へ向かう参道です。杉並木もいいですが、ブナやホオノキなどもあり歩いていて気持ちがいいです。
This is the approach to Towada Shrine from the closed shopping street without passing through the lakeside. Cedar trees are nice, but there are beech trees and magnolia obovata, so it feels good to walk around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JRバス十和田湖駅から徒歩6、7分、十和田ビジターセンターから徒歩10分ほどの所に十和田神社の鳥居があり、そこから乙女の像まで続く杉並木です。新緑の季節も紅葉の季節も綺麗ですが、雪が積もった真冬も素敵な場所です。
（この辺りの真冬は日中でも最高気温が氷点下5℃ぐらいの日もあるので、普通の圧縮ウールのコートでは寒いです。ダウンコートとマフラー必須です）
There is a torii gate of Towada Shrine about 6 to 7 minutes on foot from JR Bus Towada Lake Station and about 10 minutes on foot from Towada Visitor Center, and it is a row of cedar trees that extends from there to the statue of the maiden. The season of fresh green and the season of autumn leaves are beautiful, but the midwinter with snow is also a wonderful place.
(In the middle of winter around here, there are days when the maximum temperature is about 5 degrees below freezing, so it is cold with a normal compressed wool coat. A down coat and a muffler are required.)
