数百年前から登山者を見守り続けたお堂もすっかり朽ちてしまい残念な事だ。

It took about 30 minutes to climb the mountain road next to Horaiji Temple. It was a mountain road where my legs hurt even with athletic shoes.

山頂を目指す道中にある奥之院は今は見る影もない。
写真は2014年のもの。現在は取り壊されて少し片付いた。
景観を楽しむ場所としてなら良いと思いますが、厳かな雰囲気の神社を期待すると無くてビックリしてしまいます。

Okunoin, which is on the way to the summit, has no shadow now.

I think it's a good place to enjoy the scenery, but I'm surprised if I don't expect a shrine with a solemn atmosphere.
