★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Line out of the door when I walked up solo, but was sat pretty quickly. Food was really good and the operation they are running is really solid. Mecha oishii!! Arrived at 7 on a Sunday and people were continuing to come in when I left around 745 or so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first take on Onomiyaki and it was great! English menu with great picture explanations of each component of the Onomiyaki. Very kind and friendly staff. Highly recommended on your trip in Hiroshima. Try the white sauce on the side for added flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rarely feel compelled enough to write restaurant reviews, but this place is exceptional! I was glad I told them after paying but after being in Japan for about 15 days and Hiroshima for several, this has been my favorite meal of all the places I've been. The tragedy is I waited until my last full day staying at the extremely nearby hostel Evergreen (also a great spot) to try their okonomiyaki. It is very, very delicious and I only wish I would have eaten there more! Highly recommended for taste AND price. On a small street and would be easy to miss, but don't make that mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring your appetite! It's like yakisoba and breakfast foods had an ugly child that graduated Harvard at ten. A pancake, noodles, vegetables, strips of pork, bean sprouts, and other lovely ingredients are all grilled atop a large grill right in front of you, compressed into layers, and served up. It isn't pretty. It doesn't look fancy or artistic. But it is very, very tasty. The flavor combijnation just works!
The staff have an informative English menu and are patient. Customization is limited to omitting certain ingredients from your okonomyaki and the size of it, but it's just delicious.
A must have if you're in the area. Prepare for a hearty meal with great local flavor.
