★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived on a Sunday night and were very impressed by the small & cozy area where the owner was preparing the food, while the guests were watching a local baseball match. The place is clean, welcoming and has a lot of style. Menu is English with instructions about how to choose and eat okonomiyaki. Food was super tasty and flavour - we chose the Junior special negiyaki with seafood. Would recommend it if you're looking for a real down to earth experience with a local host. Kudos to their team for all efforts to make us Foreigners feel welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Hiroshima style okonomiyaki and very friendly service. I had cream cheese, pork & kimchi, special Hiroshimayaki and 2 chu hi and it came to about 3200 yen. Great food and atmosphere, rub shoulders and chat with locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really small place, so be prepared if you end up not coming in. We managed to come by early and were the first customers, after 5min the place was occupied. We felt like experiencing a cooking show, the chef was brilliant and really nice. The okonomiyaki itself was the best we had yet (we ate Okonomiyaki in Tokyo and Osaka before, yeah I know, they are even different in the making, but still, I like those Hiroshima style better) my personal tip: the Junior Special! But hey, just look at those photos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic okonomiyaki! We tried some in Hiroshima area and some also in Osaka (without cabbage), but these were definitely our favourite ones. The bar is quite small, but has a good cozy atmosphere and Junior is a great chef.

With a full English menu, and the most flavorful, balanced taste - Okonomiyaki Junior is a MUST VISIT in Hiroshima.
The chef and waitress are the kindest, most helpful people; focused on ensuring you enjoy every bite of their delicious food.
Fair prices, amazing taste.
Can’t recommend highly enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small hole-in-the-wall okonomiyaki place you won't want to miss when in Hiroshima!!
Cozy and warm environment with friendly owners that provide excellent service. Prices are fair for the portion sizes and everything on the menu is tasty. If you are in a group, this is the perfect spot to order a few items and share amongst yourselves. There are only 7 counter seats so hopefully you are lucky and find some space!
You can also watch a Carps game on the TV and enjoy it with a drink from a good selection of mixed drinks and beers!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little okonomiyaki bar - has counter seating for around 8 people wrapped around the hot plate where you can watch the chef prepare the food.
For a beer and standard okonomiyaki it only cost 1350 yen which is a bargain especially for the portion size.
When we came on a Wednesday night around 7 pm and there was 3 people so wasn't too busy.
