★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to walk. Sakura are finished but wisteria are in bloom now. Castle and things to visit. Clock opens and robot dances and sings. Many Pokemon Go stops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved going to Okazaki parc during the plain season of Hanami an I got the chance to enjoy the Matsuri held for the occasion despite the coronavirus situation! The joy to see the sakura blossoms at 100 % was emplyfied by the happiness of getting a stuffed stomachs from all the yatai there. As japanese would say お腹ぽんぽん!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent views of the cherry blossom season here in Okazaki Park. The views are plentiful and dazzling from every angle. You will have a hard time putting your camera or phone down and soak in the atmosphere.
Not only are the trees well lit at night, but the castle serves as the central beacon and landmark. There is a stunning red footbridge that looks absolutely gorgeous up close or from afar.
During the cherry blossom season, there are carnival style game and food vendors lined up everywhere on the park grounds. We had no shortage of tasty snacks, and entertaining games for the kids. Who am I kidding... Adults can join in on the fun as well.
Several canals and creeks run through or around the park. The lights and sights reflect off the water to create a postcard scenery.
I wish I had found this park earlier. I will definitely want to come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little park in the middle of Okazaki City. You can also visit Okazaki Castle or take a walk around it. Especially the red bridge which also famous for photo spot. The river side has been improving a lot, considering this place also held a firework every year. Sidewalk and lighting become better nowadays. Around autumn and winter, you can see the illumination on it. The center clock will do a doll show around 5PM if I remember correctly.
