★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡崎公園前交差点から松本町の浄誓院西辺りまでの、約650ｍの通り。「城門」とは岡崎公園入口に建つ「岡崎城大手門」とされる全く歴史に関係のないハコモノのこと。ここから命名された通りだが、藩政期～昭和戦前まで通り自体存在せず、戦後復興で新たに造られた。
 Street about 650m from Okazaki Park front intersection to Matsumoto-cho west of Joshoin. "Shiromon" is a box that has nothing to do with history, and is said to be "Okazaki Castle Otomon" at the entrance of Okazaki Park. As it was named from here, it did not exist as it was until the pre-war period and before the Showa War, and it was newly constructed in postwar reconstruction.
