★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much attractions but ots of history display until reaching to the top, observation deck. But I agree it's historically meaningful much more than the architecture itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okazaki is a quaint little city not too far from Nagoya. I was surprised to see the such a nice complex. The castle is rather fetching. There are old buildings surrounding it. One can spend a couple of hours just soaking the atmosphere walking around and enjoying the view. The plum trees were just starting to open their flowers. Gardeners were tending to the trees. It was quiet peaceful one of my favorite places in Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place to visit during Spring season. There's a festival where you can watch Japanese shows and eat Japanese street foods.
It is also a nice place to have picnic with your family and friends. If you like fitness, this is also a good place to have physical activity plus nature therapy.
It might get crowded during festivals but there are many parking lots available though I haven't waited so long to get my parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a medium or small scale castle. Seems not very touristy.
The most interesting thing to me is the four-colors rubbing paint. (四色拓印)
The 3D animation is also impressive too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great displays in the castle and in the museum . I loved the diorama and holograms. Just a real shame that this very well crafted exhibition had little to no English translations
