★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本格フランス菓子を販売する老舗店。初めて見るケーキでしたので、店主？の方に色々質問攻めしてしまいましたが、気さくにお話して下さいました。パイナップルのタルトとコーヒークリームのケーキを買いました。どちらも大変美味しくてリピ確定です。
 A long-established store selling authentic French confectionery. Since it was the first cake I saw, was it the owner? I asked a lot of questions, but I was happy to talk to you. I bought a pineapple tart and a coffee cream cake. Both are very tasty and the ripip is confirmed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ およそ100年前に和菓子店として創業し、1974年にフランス菓子店として再出発した洋菓子店です。
店名の由来は『青い鳥』でノーベル文学賞を受賞したベルギーの詩人『メーテルリンク』のようなのですが、その理由はフランスのニースに城を買ってこの地で死去したという経緯からでは無く、自国フランスよりもフランス料理が美味しいとされている国がベルギーである事から名付けられたそうです。
老舗らしく古びた喫茶スペースがありますが、オペラで活躍しているソリストによるコンサートが開催され、演奏終了後にお茶を出演者と共に頂くなど日本とは思えないようなイベントもあるようです。
カニッシュは、プードルに見立てて作られたメレンゲ菓子で、形状が崩れないようにしっかり目に作られていて、砂糖の甘みも効いてました。
タルト ブルーベリーは、マーガリンやショートニングなど人工トランス脂肪酸が含まれる油脂が出来る以前から作られている商品です。
バターだけを使用しているとてもシンプルな昔ながらのタルトとなっています。
甘酸っぱいブルーベリージャムと、ほんのりとした甘みとコクのあるタルト生地を合わせたタルトは紅茶との相性が良さそうですね。
お店の商品はテイクアウトだけに限らず、ＨＰでお取り寄せも出来るようになっているようなので、気になる方はぜひご利用してみて下さい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 娘がインスタで見たメレンゲ菓子が可愛いからと、こちらのお店へ。事前に電話で確認すると横浜の西口ということでしたが、どこから向かえばいいか分からず、雨の中結構歩きました。どうせなら、もう少し詳しく案内してくれればいいのにね。
お店に着くと、他のお店では置いていないようなフランス菓子が並んでいて、私はコロネ、娘はお目当てのメレンゲを。
いただいたコロネはアーモンドクリームが入っているということでしたが、アーモンドの味はあまりしなかったです。普通に美味しくはありましたが。
年配の女性も店主の男性も、とにかく愛想がありません。何か聞いても一問一答。そこが残念。
