★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to beat the brutal humid Summer. I am guessing that it is not very well known outside the prefecture (My Japanese friend had to explain the location to a reasonably well traveled friends of her).
The crystal clear water near the waterfall is the highlight of this place and you can also do a short adventurous climb right up to the waterfall. There are no restrictions here but do take care of yourself because the rocks can hurt.
There is a not very high diving spot which I recommend but triple check the exact landing spot because there are rocks around the place. We were here for 4 hours and did not feel bored at all.
I do not think there are Buses to this spot so Car/Taxi are your best choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The scenery was one and only. And the water was crystal clear. If you are to drive around, it is simply a must to visit there. No one would regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for nature lovers. The shrine is photogenic. There's a short suspension bridge that's fun to cross. The place is rocky and getting to the falls can be quite tricky witghout hiking shoes. Would recommend for hiking or just chilling in nature.
