正面に神社が見えてくると、その右手に湧き水が小さな滝となっていました。
名水が湧く所に水の神を祭り聖域となっていました。
静かでよいところでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11月上旬、紅葉の見ごろに近くの市営駐車場にとめて伺いました。途中紅葉も植えてあり、赤と黄色の世界がとてもきれいでした。神社は、歴史あるたたずまいが見事でした。湧き水、苔が程よい感じに生えており。癒されます。

ですので登山者の多くもここで参拝されている様です。
御祭神は国造りを行い、多くの名を持つ大己貴神(おおなむちのかみ)
となります。
御朱印は書き置きで拝殿のお賽銭箱の前に掛けられています。
近くには無料の市営の駐車場がありますがゴールデンウィークは登山者やキャンプで来る人ですぐに満車になるようです。

地元の方にお水がおいしいと教えてもらい参拝、散策。
立派なお社で、色々な神様を祭られているようです。
ここから尾白川渓谷に入るようですが…冬の時期に行った私たちには無理な話。吊り橋までで退散しました。
渓谷散策は夏でもちゃんとした装備がないとダメだと思います。
お水の神様からお水分けていただきました。冷たくて最高に美味しかったです。
鳥居前に小さなお手洗いあり。
景色も最高。途中キャンプ場もあり、駐車場にあった売店で受付をするようです。
