古くは新大橋の袂にあった大橋稲荷とこの地区にあった末廣稲荷を合祀して大廣神社になったとの事です。
末廣稲荷は勝ち運を授け、災厄を避けるというご利益があり、大橋稲荷は橋を渡る事から念願成就、合格祈願のご利益があるそうです。
この地元では東京大学に進学した学生が多いのは大廣神社のご利益のおかげかもしれません。
