The Daikoku Old Battlefield is the largest battleground of the Hokuetsu Boshin War, which is said to be more than the Aizu War. The site where the new government army has built a fort is now being rebuilt as the Daikoku Battlefield Park, and there is a “Boshin Battle Records Monument” written by Vice Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto.
