 As several predecessors said, this is one of the few places on National Highway 341 to rest and go to the toilet, and the scenery is pretty good.

雲りの日でしたがコバルトブルー色の湖を見られました。以前は晴れでもっと素晴らしい景観でした。10月は公衆トイレは使用出来ました。
This is the second stop. The weather was cloudy after rain, but the water in the lake was not muddy.
It was a cloudy day, but I could see a cobalt blue lake. It used to be sunny and more spectacular. Public toilets were available in October.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八幡平までの道、エメラルドグリーンのダム湖が美しい。和式だけですが、公衆トイレもあります。時期によってはカメムシがたくさんいて足の踏み場がないほど。
The road to Hachimantai, the emerald green dam lake is beautiful. Only Japanese style, but there is also a public toilet. Depending on the season, there are many stink bugs and there is no foothold.

湖の方を見るとブイが目立っていていて（写真には右下にちょっとしか映していません）残念です。北上すると橋で絶景を見られるので、そちらをお勧めします。
The frame of the photo is placed in a delicate position.
Looking towards the lake, the buoys stand out (the photo shows only a little in the lower right), which is a shame. If you go north, you can see a superb view on the bridge, so we recommend that.
