In the precincts, there are Kaguraden and the “Manyoshu” Toka, which was sung more than 1,300 years ago, “Nagoya is in love with the true color of Nibu who blows the gold.” (I do n’t just say it like the red soil of Niu who smelts iron. I ’m in love. That means) However, it is carved in Manba Kana on a song monument (established in 1947). It is said that this ancient love song of love was sung in this area. Lake Niu becomes a famous place for cherry blossoms in spring. To the west of the lake is the “Lake Niu sunflower field”, and more than 110,000 sunflowers bloom in summer. In addition, there is a mountain castle “Nyu Castle Ruins” that retains its original shape in the middle of the mountain 1km away from the north end of the lake.
