★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is listed as a tourist attraction but the lighthouse has no tourism features at all. Except a "lover's sanctuary" bell you can ring. There is a fence around the tower and not much of a view from the shore. The parking across the street warns that you need to pay, but nobody attends the lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the lighthouse itself there is not much to see or do. But is a nice construction also withe traditional Japanese bell. But is can give very nice view of the sea and it is near some nice restaurants and cafes and BBQ areas.
It is very close to great beach areas featuring kiosks and some attractions during summer.
This are is a nice and quite popular place to stop by and take some pictures. Sunset during some seasons of the year can be very nice there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less than a year later I almost freeze to death looking for my lock and it was gone! I'm devastated. My love is gone and so is the symbol of it! If I had known they were so quick to throw everyone's love in the garbage I would have put my lock so deep in the mountain woods that it would still be there 20 years from now. Don't put a lock here or any other place known for this because it won't be there if you go back!
