★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 吉野を脱出した大海人皇子は不破にたどり着き、ここ野上に行宮を興しました。戦闘の指揮は息子の高市皇子に任せて自身はこの地に留まり、戦場に立つことはありませんでした。
説明にはここから朝鮮式土器も見つかっているとありましたが、建物の跡とかは見つかっていないのでしょうか？当時を偲ぶものは無いのではと思っていましたが、ここまで何も無いとは思ってもいませんでした。説明板はありますが、石碑すらありません。すぐ近くにある徳川家康の最初の陣地跡である桃配山には二つも石碑があるのにここにはありません。ここは大海人皇子にとって記念すべき場所なのになぜ何もないのでしょうか？辺りは夏草が生い茂っていて時々新幹線の轟音が静寂を破る以外はただ蝉の声が聞こえるばかりです。
本格的な発掘調査は行われたのでしょうか？もし建物の跡でも発見されたら、一部でも復元してほしいと思います。
 The Emperor Tenmu, who escaped from Yoshino, arrived at Fuwa and established a palace here in Nogami. He left the command of the battle to his son, Prince Takechi, and stayed here, never standing on the battlefield.
The explanation said that Korean-style pottery was also found here, but aren't there any traces of the building? I thought there was nothing to remember back then, but I didn't think there was anything so far. There is an explanation board, but there is not even a stone monument. There are two stone monuments on Mt. Momokubari, the site of Ieyasu Tokugawa's first position in the immediate vicinity, but they are not here. Why is there nothing here when it is a memorable place for the Prince of the Sea? The area is overgrown with summer grass, and except for the occasional roaring sound of the Shinkansen breaking the silence, I can only hear the voice of cicadas.
Was a full-scale archaeological excavation conducted? If you find the remains of a building, I would like you to restore even a part of it.
