★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 在野の天体観測愛好者の成田さんが、趣味が高じて自宅に作った天体観測施設を「多摩天体観測所」として一般に開放してくださっています。
ボランティアで天体の面白さを衆生の我々に説いてくださるお姿に神々しさを感じます。
スマートフォン等での天体撮影の際のフォルダーレンタル費用以外は基本的に無料ですが、観察後の感想文の送付や何らかのお土産を差し上げたくなるような、温かい心遣いのある天体観測所です。
 Mr. Narita, an astronomical observation enthusiast in the field, has opened the astronomical observation facility he built at home as a "Tama Astronomical Observatory" to the general public.
I feel the godliness of the volunteers who explain the fun of celestial bodies to us as sentient beings.
It is basically free except for the folder rental fee when shooting astronomical objects with a smartphone etc., but it is an astronomical observatory with warm consideration that makes you want to send impressions after observation and give some souvenirs.

Each month he opens his private observatory for free, to invite guest for a look into the universe.
You must be fluent in Japanese to follow his stories, but it's worth a visit.
Please give a call to him, to make a reservation.
We had a great time with the nice person, and will return next time when sky is less cloudy.
