★ ★ ★ ★ ★ みちのく一人旅で2020年10月下旬に近くのホテルに宿泊した際、朝の散歩で偶然発見しました。
会津若松=白虎隊くらいの知識しか無かったですが、こちらを見つけたことで飯沼貞吉という一人の人物の物語を知ることができました。
白虎隊が飯盛山で自刃した際に死に切れずに命を救われ その後学問をする機会を与えられ名を貞雄と改め逓信省技師となり各地に勤務し日清戦争にも従軍した。
近くには鶴ヶ城など見どころが結構あり、散歩して楽しかったです。
 When I stayed at a nearby hotel in late October 2020 on a solo trip to Michinoku, I happened to discover it on a walk in the morning.
I had only the knowledge of Aizuwakamatsu = Byakkotai, but by finding this, I was able to know the story of a person named Sadakichi Iinuma.
When Byakkotai slashed himself on Mt. Iimori, he was saved his life without dying. After that, he was given the opportunity to study, changed his name to Sadao, became an engineer of the Ministry of Communications, and worked in various places and served in the Sino-Japanese War.
There are quite a few attractions nearby, such as Tsuruga Castle, and I enjoyed taking a walk.
