卒業式の日に伝説の樹の下で・・という某ゲームではなく、畑の外れにある桜の木の下に一つの石に二体の地蔵石仏が建っています。石材を彫りくぼめていきながら、蓮華座上に立つ地蔵立像を彫刻する技術は色々な石棺仏を見てきましたが、形にできる仏師には尊敬します。この地蔵様をじっくり見るとすぐに気づくのですが、円頭光・錫杖・衲衣（袈裟）・蓮華座の輪郭を墨書きで表現していることです。正直なところ落書きされたともとれる書き込みに見えましたが、彫りだけでは表現できない部分を書くことにより仏師の表現したいものを表したものと思います。左右二体の地蔵さまですが、右側の地蔵さまは風化と思われる崩壊が進んでいるように思え、左側で見れる地蔵さまと同じ表現がされていたのだなと思うと残念です。いつごろできたものかは解りませんが、可能な限りこの姿を長く残してもらいたいです。

To be honest it seemed to be a write that could be taken even if it was scribbled, but I think that it expresses what Buddhist wants to express by writing a part that can not be expressed by carving alone. It is regrettable that it seems that the collapse that seems to weather is proceeding and the same expression as Jizo-sama seen on the left side was done though it is the two right and left Jizo-sama. I do not know when I was able to finish it, but I would like this figure to remain as long as possible.
