ま	まるふくかんたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古墳王国群馬。コロナのおかげで何度も宿の予約、キャンセルを繰り返して来たが、ようやく蔓延防止重点措置が解除になり草生い茂り虫が湧きまくるであろう夏までには見学に行かねばと、老父の介護を無理やり妻に押し付けてやって来た大室公園は桜も満開を過ぎ散るばかりとなった季節だった。前二子古墳は国民的大女優である吉永小百合が出演するJR東日本の「2020年春　大人の休日倶楽部」ＣＭロケ地の一つ。残念ながら当方の住む地でＣＭは放映されていないのだが結構な反響があったようだと現地で知った。表層に樹木が無いので２段構成の前方後円墳の形がきれいに見える。車を停めて古墳に近づくに連れて動悸が激しくなる。古墳を回り込んだ先に見えた石室の入口は開口しており、中に入ると感知して照明が点灯する仕組みなので、リサーチ不足で持参した懐中電灯は邪魔なだけだった。明治時代の発掘調査によって、崇神天皇の皇子で東国を治めたと伝わる豊城入彦命の陵墓に認定する動きもあったらしいのだが決定打に欠けると最終的には治定を見送られた。６世紀初頭の築造と見られ大室古墳群の前方後円墳の中では一番古い。朝鮮半島との繋がりが伺える副葬品が出土している。 Kofun Kingdom Gunma.
