J	Joe .m on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは東京都北区西ヶ原にある "都電荒川線" "西ヶ原4丁目駅" 都内に唯一残る路面電車である。ご存知の方も多いだろうが、この "都電荒川線" は (東京都新宿区) "早稲田駅" ～ (東京都荒川区) "三ノ輪橋駅" 間の 12,2Km を走る路面電車である。この "都電荒川線" 特徴的なところは住宅地の中に線路が通っている為、一般的な電車と違い、民家との間を結構な至近距離で走っているところであろう。実際に乗車してみると、車窓からは普段乗る電車とはまた違った景色が見えて中々楽しい。また、この "都電荒川線" の駅や付近の線路の有る場所には、東京にある田舎風景のような感じが何とも不思議なノスタルジーを感じさせてくれる。天気の良い休日なら東京の下町を散策がてら "都電荒川線" に乗って出掛けてみるのもきっと楽しい時間となるであろう。因みに余談だが、これを撮影している時に近所の保育園児達が先生に引率されて大勢で散歩に来ており、電停に停まっている車両に向かって一生懸命に手を振っていた。そしてそれに気が付いた運転手さんもまた電停を出発するまでの数分間ずっと笑顔で園児達に手を振り返していた。その人情味の有る光景にとても癒された瞬間であった。園児の皆、そして運転手さん、心の元気をくれて有難う。オラは今日も頑張る！ This is the "Toden Arakawa Line" and "Nishigahara 4-Chome Station" located in Nishigahara, Kita-ku, Tokyo. The only remaining tram in Tokyo. As you may know, this "Toden Arakawa Line" is a tram that runs 12,2km between "Waseda Station" (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and "Minowabashi Station" (Arakawa-ku, Tokyo). The characteristic feature of this "Toden Arakawa Line" is that, unlike a general train, it runs at a very close distance to a private house because the track runs through the residential area. When I actually get on the train, the view from the train window is different from the one I usually get on, so it's fun. In addition, the location of the "Toden Arakawa Line" station and nearby railway tracks has a mysterious nostalgic feeling like the countryside scenery in Tokyo. If it's a sunny day, it's a fun time to stroll down the downtown area of Tokyo and get on the "Toden Arakawa Line". By the way, as a side note, when I was shooting this, the nearby nursery school children were led by the teacher and came to walk in large numbers, waving hard at the vehicle stopped at the train stop. The driver, who noticed it, also smiled back at the children for a few minutes before leaving the train. It was a moment when he was healed by the sight of humanity.
