S	S W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 埼玉県和光市新倉に鎮座する新倉氷川八幡神社の9月限定書き置き御朱印2種を頂きに参拝。鎌倉時代の弘安年間創建なんですが、氷川と八幡が一緒にお祀りされた氷川八幡神社と呼ばれる神社は、全国で同じく和光市下新倉と鴻巣市の3つしか無いそうです。ちなみに下新倉氷川八幡神社の宮司さんと、こちらの新倉氷川八幡神社の宮司さんはご兄弟なんだそうです。残念ながら下新倉氷川八幡神社様は、現在御朱印の受付はしていらっしゃらない旨、社務所に貼り紙がしてありました。こちらの新倉氷川八幡神社は、荒川の低地からグッと登った武蔵野台地の縁にあり、境内は緑が多く開けた所もあり気持ちがいいです。しかし宅地化される前は樹齢300年を超える木も聳える鎮守の森が広がっていたそうな。授与所は鳥居をくぐり拝殿に向かう途中の左手にありますが基本無人です。カラカラとガラス戸を自分で開けて、お守りや御朱印を頂きます。金額はそれぞれに貼られているので、総額を授与品が並ぶ棚の下部にある小さな賽銭箱に入れるスタイル。御朱印は各300円。両替機もありました。 Visit Niikura Hikawa Hachiman Shrine, which is located in Niikura, Wako City, Saitama Prefecture, to receive two types of red stamps written in September.
