西国三十三観音を安山岩製の石に浮き彫りしたもので、1基ごとに札所番号や寺号、寄進者の名前が記されている。
千手観音をはじめ多くの菩薩様が祀られており、江戸時代中ごろから流行した西国33所巡りを代用させる目的で19世紀半ばに作られたものと考えられている。
うろ覚えで多いのか少ないのか忘れましたが、観音さんは三十三体では無かったと思います。
It is next to Hiraba Castle in Shiraishi Castle, next to the tomb of Sai Shoin.
This is an Andesan stone relief of the 33rd Kannon in the west, with a note number, a temple number and the names of donors.
It is thought that it was made in the mid 19th century for the purpose of substituting 33 visits to the west country that became popular from the middle of the Edo period.
I forgot to remember whether it was more or less, but I think Kannon wasn't thirty-three.

2018年4月8日にお参りしました。お目当ての桜は、2日くらい早かったようです。
2018年4月11日に再訪しました。桜がほぼ満開でした。
