2021.11.25 I worshiped in front of the Imperial Palace. It is a long shrine from north to south along the east side of the Imperial Palace. The autumn leaves were in full bloom and beautiful. There was "Somei Well" that you can drink here, and bottles were also sold.

I visited Nashinoki Shrine on the way to the Kyoto Imperial Palace. This shrine is a special official company that was founded in 1887 with Sanjo Sanjo as a deity. Also known as "Hagi no Miya", Hagi blooms in the precincts during the season and is famous as a famous place for Hagi in Kyoto.

Nashinoki Shrine enshrines the father and son of Sanetsumu Sanetomi, a public house who contributed to the Meiji Restoration, and was founded in 1887, and is still a new shrine. It is a famous place for Hagi as it is called "Hagi no Miya", and there are many strips of Japanese poems in the precincts. Also, there seems to be a festival in September. If you go down the torii gate and proceed along the approach, you will find clean water in a stone bowl, and a fortune teller here. On the right is the monument of Hideki Yukawa, a famous Nobel scholar ... Eventually, you can see the monument of Akinari Ueda, the author of Ugetsu Monogatari. Why? Did you sympathize with the idea of "simple refining" in which Sanjo and Sanjo are the gods of learning and literary arts, and the Sanjo family is content with poverty to study and cultivate virtue? Or is it just a simple neighborhood? I don't know ... Cleanse your hands with the water from the well of Somei and head to the hall of worship. This well is said to be one of the three famous waters of Kyoto and is still flowing out. The strange thing is that people who always have a big container in such a place clean their hands elegantly and get their lips wet with a bowl ... Young women who pass each other seem to be smart, right? However, if you know it, it's Nashinoki Shrine, which will become a public house ?

It is a shrine on the east side of the Imperial Palace. Kyoto's three major waters, Somei, Agatai, Samegai Ushii It is the only place where you can still draw. You can get somei well water. It's precious water, so it seems that it is well maintained. There is a note, but unfortunately some people do not follow the rules when they go to get water from time to time. I want people who come to use it carefully so that they can share it for a long time with consciousness.

Outside the fee admission area, there is not much to see. But the parking next to the shrine is not expensive, we parked over there and walked into the shrine.
