香	香月義彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八注池の駐車場から数分歩くと、鳴滝山山頂の展望台に行けます。傾斜が急なところは丸太で階段になっています。八注池の案内図にあるとおり、途中にも1つ展望の望める場所に休憩所があります。このそばの「芝広場」は、広場というほど広くはありません。山頂にあるのはパラグライダー・ハンググライダーの発進場所と、展望台のみ。展望台は高さがあまりないので、中からの景色はあまり変わりません。天井のモルタルが剥がれ落ちるのでネットが張ってあったりと、古さを感じます。山頂から眺望が得られるのは南側のみです。その他の方角は木に遮られて空しか見えません。遊歩道はさらに奥に続いていましたので、時間があれば周ってみるのもいいと思います。 A few minutes walk from the parking lot of Hachijoike, you can reach the observatory at the top of Mt. Azumi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 12月初旬の日曜日に鳴滝山登山口バス停から歩いて登りました。展望台まで1時間ちょっとでした。歩行者用の道は鳴滝集落までは舗装されていて歩きやすいです。鳴滝集落後に林道(車道)に一瞬合流し、また歩行者用の道を通るのが正規ルートだと思うのですが、その道は神社の直後から荒れ果てていたので諦めて引き返し、林道を通って八注池まで行くことにしました。八注池から展望台までは10分くらいで着きます。展望台とその前にある休憩所は視界が開けていて、瀬戸内海がよく見えました。人も少なく、景色を堪能できました。帰りは林道を通って吉和まで下りました。鳴滝山には5年ほど前に来たことがあるのですが、その時は行きと同じ道を通って下りたのですが、鳴滝集落付近の坂が急すぎて脚が痛くなった覚えがあったからです。林道はそれほど傾斜が強いところもなく、50分ほどで吉和に着きました。 I walked up from the Nakitakiyama Observatory bus stop on Sunday in early December.
