★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was almost dark when we arrived here. It was raining, and there were parts of the temple ongoing for building or renovation.
It was solemn inside. There are donations or payment for the candles, or the insence. You can pray and light them up.
There is a box where you can pick your fortune. However they were written in Chinese or Japanese, and these fortunes need to be read. If you get a good fortune, take it with you. If not, you have to tie and leave it to the temple.
We had someone to read it for us. Take note that the caretaker doesn't speak English or won't translate this for you.
This was indeed a memorable temple for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a wonderful shopping area, we visited this 3 times. Lots of good bargains if you look hard, and don't just devote your time to the covered streets. Look around and explore! Oh, and the food. There's a great selection.

The intricacy of architecture is impressive.
Although I am not a Buddhist, I can feel something divine here and I acted accordingly as it is considered a sacred place. Many people were coming and pray silently.
The buddhist pigeons (as I call them) are tame and love to mingle with the people.
This is within the vicinity of Osu shopping district.
Don't miss it if you are in Nagoya City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is beautiful! ⛩ Outside the grounds has a lot of pigeons ? that you can also feed them and near the temple is a huge Shopping district.
The Temple is free admission but if you want to feed pigeons it will cost you just less.
Make sure to bring a lot of cash when visiting the Shopping district. ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near the main temple building is a small hut that contains dishes of bird feed and all the pigeons know it. The hut is not manned so you just open the window and leave your coins and take the feed. Interacting with the wild pigeons in such a close and friendly way is great fun. So far this is the only location where I have seen this.

Awesome experience. I think it should be take a half of day to walking all around all over Osu Kannon. While shopping, you can enjoy various kinds of street foods also.

This place is good for shopping and foodtrips. Inside the center, there are a lot of foodshops and store that will be harm for you and your pocket, so be careful. ?
This place is a mixed of city and province vibe ✨?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large Buddhist temple surrounded by the urban life of Nagoya. The monks are always enchanting. Get it? They were … in, and chanting. Thanks. I’m here for the whole weekend.
Not a bad temple and they have goushuine. Nothing especially out of the ordinary if you’ve visited other temples in any of the surrounding prefectures.
